Mahjong Master is designed to run without user accounts and without external game servers. The app provides offline play against AI opponents and local Wi‑Fi multiplayer using Apple’s local networking technologies.
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information. The app does not require you to create an account, enter your name, provide an email address, or upload personal data to us.
The app may store game state on your device so a match can continue if the app closes, a device sleeps, or a local multiplayer host changes. This may include match progress, hands, scores, player seats, settings, and local table state. This information is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us.
When you host or join a local multiplayer match, Mahjong Master uses the local network to discover and communicate with nearby devices on the same network. Match data needed to run the game may be shared between participating devices, including player seat, public table state, redacted player snapshots, move intents, and recovery checkpoints.
The app requests local network permission only so nearby devices can find and play at the same table. Local multiplayer does not require an external server operated by us.
AI opponents and Sifu coach recommendations are calculated within the app from the current game state. Coaching text, discard suggestions, waits, outs, and tactical recommendations are not sent to us.
The current app design does not include third-party advertising or third-party analytics. If analytics, crash reporting, ads, or in-app purchases are added later, this policy should be updated before release to describe those services accurately.
Mahjong Master does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require an account or personal profile, we do not ask children to provide personal information.
Local match data remains on your device until it is overwritten by later game activity, cleared by the app, or removed when you delete the app. To delete locally stored app data, delete Mahjong Master from your device. Depending on your device settings, iOS may also provide options for offloading or removing app data.
Local multiplayer data is used to operate the match between participating nearby devices. You should only join tables with people and networks you trust. No method of local network communication or device storage can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.
